Question Steering-stop extensions

Apparently I have slightly too much offset (+15) on my 7.5x17 Sequoia wheels for the 285's I just had installed, causing rubbing at full lock. I would like to first try steering stop extensions before making any other changes, if that is not difficult. What do I need to know about using these? Will I stress the power steering if I turn the steering wheel too far? Do I need to make any other changes/adjustments to accommodate this one?

I don't recall but I believe you can get custom steering stops that can be be welded to the spindles. In my case they added some weld onto the LCA steering stop area on both sides. Not as neat as the ones you can buy and weld on, but works (can be a bit more noisy).

It just limits the angle, so no extra stress on the system. However it does increase your turning radius.
