Edit, it was a $95 core charge for each axle, so you get $190 back total after you return the cores.

Coming soon, ditched the old PIAA pencil beam spots for a 30" rigid bar, just test fit it while changing diff fluids, will install shortly...

Like the build man, an the name - I actually had an 02 Saleen Vert from 2007-2013 Miss that thing mine was built - when I got it had a Vortex on it and IRS thrown in - I took it added a bunch more boost, converted to blow through and 05+ MAF, then threw Viper Spec T-56 in and built the IRS with FullTiltBoogie bushings/Delrin, and put a Torsien T2R diff in. Maximum Motorsports everything for suspension and car was a track terror, won ALOT of king of the hill events especially in Germany. Miss that car but it was a shell of it'self whenI sold it as I had parted out and put back to stock.

Hindsight I should have kept it - and I would advise you to do the same with your White one in the garage.

I love the 4Runner build as well man - just getting back to a 4Runner and will be doing cheap mods and maint now..

Yes I will never get rid of my Saleen, if not for what a fun car it is then for the fact that my grandfather (RIP) helped me get it after college and it's got a lot of sentiment tied up in it, not to mentions hundreds of hours of my blood sweat and tears. Thanks for the good words.

I also replaced my axles with CVJ's with the HD boots. Really nice OEM rebuids at a decent price. Still trying to solve a strange metal on metal rattling noise since I installed them.

In this pic do you have a diff drop installed - your CV angles look great man - I have some USA rebuild axles enroute but plan to get some good boots and rebuild my stockers as my core charge was only 5 dollars a piece. Plan is to rebuild my stock ones - and when I lock the front - and possibly regear - not sure I need to unless I go to 35's so this is a ways down the road - I'll put the rebuilt stock units back in nd keep my rebuilt axles aka aftermarkets as my trail spares.

Nope, no diff drop, they're are unnecessary if you adjust your coil-overs properly.

After 155k miles my front lower control arm bushing were shot and the lower ball joints I replaced back around 45k miles were also done. Instead of replacing the parts with OEM I elected to get a set of Total Chaos race series stock length LCAs (http://www.chaosfab.com/2010-2017-4R...s-86500-R-10FJ). I went with the dual shock option in case I ever decide to add the extra bypass shock up front.

Thanks, they are nice.

I did lose a little bit of full-lock turning radius, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for the improvements these arms offer.

Limiting steering angle is not a bad thing, limits stress offroad in the technical stuff.

Nice, Mike!

Does your steering feeling more responsive, and do you get any squeaks from the new control arms? The latter was my biggest concern when I was looking at them.

Yes the front end feels "tighter", but I attribute that mostly to the fact that my old LCAs and all associated bushings were shot. The new LCAs do not squeak at all and the bushing have zirk fittings so as long as they are kept greased I imagine they'll stay quiet. The 4 bushings on the bottom of my coil-overs (where they bolt to the LCAs), however, we all toast as well and I only replaced the worst offender as it was squeaking terribly. I need to have the coil overs rebuilt also, but that's for next. I can't afford downtime on the truck so I'll probably just buy a new set and install them, then send these old ones off to be rebuilt and resell them once done to recoup some of the cost.

i've put about 30k miles on my Race arms and only had to throw grease into them once. Im very happy with them and got them for the same reason you did. Looks good!

Working at a remote pump station in the Cleveland National Forest. They warned me the road was "rough", and I told them I'm used to no road so any road would be an improvement.

My remote fob was well worn, my buddy turned me on to these, https://www.ajtdesign-llc.com. I asked Santa for one and he came through.
