What's everyone doing for their Co2 tanks?
Like, what the hell do you do with a 15# tank? In my034runner, the tank mount is bolted to the floor in the back left corner, but for some reason, they put that stupid plastic tray thingy back there which really limits what you can do with a Co2 bottle. It's even more trouble some for JP, he has the BIG 20# Powertank…….mine is a 15# non power tank..... M.O.R.E makes a really nice bracket that apparently Only for PowerTank 10#, and maybe not for the slider either. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah, I haven't found a solution for the 20lb tank yet. I've been considering buying a 10 or 15 and then going with the MORE mount but FFS the powertank bracket and MORE mount are almost the same price as the tank itself. I guess I could sell my 20lb tank to offset but I kind of like that tank and only having to fill it once a year or less.

I had a mount for it from "The Source" but it never made it out of the old 4Runner before it was sold. It bolted right through the floor in back and was perfect. I was lazy, I don't have it any longer so that's that.
Options for the 20lb bottle are few and far between though and that thing's a real missile if it gets loose in the truck for any reason. I could just buy a 10 lb for trips and keep the 20 for the garage too. Oh well, least of my worries now. I have a portable battery powered tire inflator that works well enough although slow. it will do for the time being.

I think mine is The Source as well. Do you think that bracket would fit into that corner somehow? Like without the MORE bracket bolted to it? It's bolted to the floor in that corner in My034Runner, and has been forever! ![]()

I don't know but if I recall correctly, wasn't the back corner shaped differently in the 4th gen? I don't remember the little tray around the D ring as there is in the 5th gen. That allowed the bracket to just sit flat on the floor in back and get mounted through the floor. I even used the original D ring as one of the bolts for the bracket and then drilled three or four other holes.
I don't see how the flat bottom of the Source bracket would sit nicely in that location in the 5th.

Wonder if it can just be taken out and have a flat spot again? ![]()

I think I may just order the MORE bracket and see if I can make it work with my co2 bottle's bracket for now. Especially seeing as they have a 20% off Labor Day coupon! If it doesn't work, sell it to someone with a Power Tank!

I bought the M.O.R.E one with 20% off, so $80 vs $100.00
