ok, i've looked for the better part of today to try to figure out how to trick the rear air bags. can someone please help, or point me to the thread that describes how to do it beyond just saying "adjust the bolt".

FYI you can also add washers to the ride height sensor bracket bolts to space the bracket away from the frame for lift as well. It beats messing w/ the slot or the turnbuckle itself.

how much 'lift' did those 2 washers give you? how thick are they? don't look to be much more than an 1/8" each.

![]() ![]() did the washer trick and put 2.5" spacers on the front. now to get some 285/70/17's to finish it out.

I used three 3/32" washers. All the info I gathered from pardo guys using this method rather than mess with the adjustment arm, said it gave a 3x multiple. So it gave me just shy of an inch in the rear. The main reason I went this route is I'm not mechanically inclined, but I'm a good supervisor of the guys at the shop. So it was easier to tell them how to do. It sits exactly level with the ignition off and when turned on and the bags fill I get a slight rake, but not anywhere near factory. I love the look. And the ride is back up to what I was used to (previous I had '08 Yukon Xl, 04 Yukon, 92 bronco and 88bronco).
Stopped at 3 washers bc no more room safely w the factory bolts on those brackets and I figured if I didn't like it I could always go buy longer bolts and thicker washers. We just used what was handy. Now I have to decide to either out 1.25" spacers on the factory rims, or get new wheels w some offset-im not too knowledgable on all this so any suggestions would help. My intent is to put 285/70/17's. But it's clear that without spacers or wheels the tires are going to hit the UCA. So any advice would be awesome. I don't do serious wheeling. I off road lightly on hunting lease w nothing that requires major flex. This is a cosmetic deal for me.
