Default Would this radio work in my SR5 4R??

It would be nice to have a plug and play head unit with XM radio.... And why would toyota put a tape player in a 05??? LOL

It should work just fine, at least I haven't heard of any changes for the 08 plugs on the back.

Yep, that is the T1808, it will work perfectly. Everything plugs right in, except possibly the second antenna cable. When I installed my T1806 I had to uncover the socket for the second antenna cable. It is built into the unit, but the Scion cars dont use it. So they cover it with a thin piece of metal. It comes right off. The photo on e-bay, looks like it might not be covered.

You can also plug an iPod directly into the T1808, if you get the correct cable. I did, and it works great.

I can get the t1808 head unit here at work there are 2 of them available for $100 plus shipping, actually 3 of them but i bought one of em.. so only 2 left.

They sound much better than the factory head unit. You will notice a bigger difference if you ever used an iPod on the factory unit, then switch over to the T1806 or T1808, with the adapter cable listed before.
