Default Discount Tire in Las Vegas

As you all already know, I got myself a big old flat tire this past Sunday on Tie Rod Canyon. So, I was thinking of a) do I see if Discount will warranty out the tire with the blown inside side wall, or do I get a whole new set of tires.
We here at Findlay Toyota buy a LOT of tires. And our parts guys know everybody. So, we have a manager that the Parts department managers follow from store to store. These guys are great.
The store that he's at now is @ Charleston & Rainbow, 6809 W. Charleston Blvd. Phone # 702-363-7765. Managers name is Bryan Lindsay, and his Senior Assistant Manager is Chris Ross. So, I went in with a blown tire after talking with Bryan, he said that he had no problem warrantying the tire, even though it was 2.5 years old. I go in this morning and see Chris (assistant Manager) Bryan was off. He not only warrantied the blown tire, but he warrantied another one as well. I though that this was pretty good service, and he got me in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

Anybody needing tires in the Las Vegas area, call Bryan and/or Chris. Tell them that Robert and/or Craig from Findlay Toyota sent you, and they'll sell you what ever tires your looking for, basically at Our cost!! I told Chris this morning after he hooked me up, that I'd be posting up their information for ours, and NVTTORA members, and he assured me that he'd be more than happy to take care of any one who comes in as a Findlay Toyota, Toy120, NVTTORA customer.

I've had good luck with the local Dicount/America's tire here in Morgan Hill as well. Seems that they figured out, treat a customer right and they keep coming back and normally bring friends with. Glad to hear they took care of you.

Thanks for moving this thread Andries. I realized after I posted it, that it was probably in the wrong area. I just saw the other thread on the MTR's and just went there, I was going to ask you to move it today anyways.

But yeah, these guy's are pretty good, so I told them that I'd let everybody know! He even said that he'd warranty out my other two tires. So, guess where I'm going next Wednesday? Yep, right back to Discount Tire. I'll have four brand new Tires, without spending $800.00! I have major chunks of rubber carved out of the side walls and the lugs, and they seem not to balance well, that's a good excuse.

I went back into that same Discount Tire today, he (Chris) said that he'd warranty out my other two tires, and he did! I've now got 4 brand new tires, they only charged me a new warranty, so, for $120.00, I've GOT $800.00 WORTH OF TIRES, with brand new warranties!! Nice!

No, you missed the point, my tires were thrashed. They weren't really warrantable, I wouldn't have done it if I was them. I got 4 new tires. But yes, they did charge me $30 per for a new warranty on these tires. I really didn't have much of a problem with that, as they could have easily told me to buy new tires. In fact, I was already ready to spend the $800.00 or so to buy new tires in the first place, because I didn't think that they would warranty them, as thrashed as they were. Holes in the side walls, lugs eaten up, chunks missing etc... And of course, the one that I blew out completely. So, if you think that I was taken, that's cool, I think over all, it was a fairly nice deal for four brand new tires, 285/75/16 BFG KO's. And with a new warranty, any problems I have in the next couple of years, they'll just swap them out. These old ones were 3.5 years old, and once again, beat to hell. Now that I didn't spend what I was thinking that I was going to spend, I'm now going to go ahead and get my black wheels. Then my black ShrockWorks bumper, and it'll be sweet.

P.S. I kept wondering what the hell you guys were talking about, then I went back and re-read my post. I've since corrected it. The 4 was supposed to be a $. as in $120.00, Not 4120.00!! I'm not that stupid! I'm usually very meticulous about my grammar and spelling and punctuation. So, I'm surprised that I missed it.

Just messing with you on the typo. You originally typed 4120 and not 120, so we just had to mess with you a bit

Anyway it was great that they did what they did, I've had good service from them in my valley as well.
