EDIT: TRIP INFO

Mojave Road Trip Dates: September 11th (Friday) through September 13th (Sunday).

Those of us coming from Las Vegas, will meet around 7:30ish am here @ Findlay Toyota. We will leave from here, and head down to Laughlin to meet up with those from California.

We will meet up as last year @ the Avi Hotel & Casino just outside of Laughlin, NV ON FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 11th @ 9:00 am. We will leave the parking lot by 9:30 am.

CB comms will be on Ch. #38. ham on 146.550.

Note: There is a gas station @ the Avi, and it's much less expensive than in Laughlin Or Needles. In fact, those coming from California, if you can make it to the Avi without stopping for gas in Needles, then you should, Gas prices in Needles are at or over $4.00 per gallon.

Put me down as maybe. I'd like to go, but we'll have to see the schedule as we get closer.

Just say that you will be supplying all of the Carne Asada for the trip and leave it at that.

Peace bro!

And one last thing.....post up in the Big Bear Braai thread in this form, when SoCal TTORA is running Big Bear, so we don't have a huge mass of people again!

EDIT.....

Thanks for editing your post Ed....I've done the same.

Yah and you can buy some fireworks this time instead of having your wife spend all your money at Avi!

I would like to sign up for this trip. Couldn't get it together for the Easter trip with NVTTORA. My Tacoma is stock , but I've been wheeling and camping for a lot of years . It looks like there are a few Nor Cal locals on this board so I thought I'd join.

Right on bro...We always welcome all members...new and old, to come on out and experience the beauty of nature with both our awesome Toyota120 and NVTTORA trips!!

Just please keep an eye on this thread as it evolves in the coming months, and when I post up the list of attendees...make sure to get your name on right away...as to avoid any confusion when it starts to fill up like the last trip.

Oh, and what is your name??

Also, by the list of your trucks...you've got a lot of experience that you can share with everyone...so please get involved!!!

I'll have the rest of my lift by then(camburg spindles, ICON coils, 285 bfg a/t's) I might try to make this trip so you won't be the only 2wd out there. This trail looks like fun I've been wanting to do it for a long time.

Been reading any trip reports I find on the Mojave Road for a while and its got everthing I crave in a wheeling trip. Mines, caves, ruins, and miles of dirt roads.
Been all over Cali, Oregon, and last couple years west Nevada. Other than Death Valley in the FJ 40, I have not explored the Southern California Deserts. Looking foward to meeting others who enjoy explorining.

John

I'll still be stock but I will still go...just need to know the confirmed dates so I can apply for some days off now.

On trips like this, I like to have Friday off and Monday off...leaves me some time to prepare and not rush back home after the trip

Hey John,
The Mojave Preserve is a special place!! And although I go there a lot, I still manage to see and experience something different every time I go out there.
And I've been there a Lot!!!

So are those dates set in stone?

I probably won't be able to join during those dates. My son's bday on the 10th and my mom's bday on the 11th.
